Under the direction of the Principal, assists in the administration of a middle school facility; plans, develops, organizes, coordinates, and supervises the student attendance, behavior management, and extra-curricular activity programs; assists in the planning, development, and implementation of site, instructional, guidance, and operational goals and objectives, and in the evaluation of the effectiveness of educational programs and personnel performance. The Assistant Principal is responsible to perform all such administrative duties as delegated; to act as Principal during absence or any incapacity of the Principal; to participate in all levels and areas of school and district administration.
Master’s Degree from an accredited university
Valid California Teaching credential
Valid Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility
EL authorization or equivalent
Five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience at the elementary and/or secondary level
Proven ability to perform at a high level of competence in positions of leadership
Additional Salary Information: (210 work days) $1,000 Annual Doctorate Stipend
