North Shore Country Day School, a JK-12 independent school near Chicago, seeks a dynamic, full-time Upper School Mathematics teacher for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. While a bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree is preferred. North Shore is eager to consider applications from groups traditionally underrepresented in independent school communities.
We seek candidates with three or more years of experience, demonstrated passion and talent in engaging students in mathematics, and a commitment to working collaboratively as part of our Mathematics Department.

We seek candidates who have invested in growing their intercultural competencies and whose teaching practice – inside and outside the classroom - reflect those competencies. Finally, because North Shore has a 1:1 program 6th-12th, candidates should be skilled integrators of 21st-century technology into their teaching practice.
