St. Paul’s Episcopal School, located across from Lake Merritt in Oakland, enrolls 380 students from diverse backgrounds in Kindergarten-Grade 8. St. Paul’s seeks to fill the Resident Teacher position, for the 2019 - 2020 academic year, with an experienced, dynamic individual who:
have attained a BA degree.
have experience working with elementary age children and are interested in pursuing a career in teaching.

have excellent communication skills with both children and adults.

are able to provide meaningful support for the head teacher.

share ideas and insights about teaching and learning.
Students are supported by specialists in Physical Education, music, Spanish, and art.
The Resident Teacher works under the supervision of a Lead Teacher.
This is a paid full-time position working 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
