The Hun School of Princeton is seeking a part-time Visual Arts instructor for the 2019-2020 school year. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and student-centered teacher with 3- 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fine arts. Semester length courses to be taught include Drawing 1, Painting 1, and Introduction to Visual Art. The instructor should be capable of teaching a wide range of techniques as well as subject matter, including but not limited to observational work from life, perspective, and development of imaginative work. Additional responsibilities include periodically curating shows of class projects for the school and attending department meetings. All courses should be student centered with a focus on developing creativity, collaborative problem solving, ethical decision making, leadership, and effective communication.
