Cheshire Academy seeks a full-time History teacher for the upcoming 2019-2020 academic year.
SCHOOL PROVIDED HOUSING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2019-2020.
The successful candidate will have an outstanding background with substantive knowledge of the historiography in her or his field, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a desire to work with a diverse community of students from around the world.
Classroom teaching responsibilities include 4 or 5 courses per semester in grade level 9-PG. Several years of prior teaching experience, a background of integrating technology with best pedagogical practices, and experience with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
Coaching and/or leading extra-curricular activities;
Weekend team responsibilities;
Residential/dormitory duties (if you are a residential faculty member); N/A for 2019-20
Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain an CT “A” endorsement for purposes of transporting students.
