Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking a middle school mathematics/Spanish/elective teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and/or Spanish (or related field) and at least 3 years of teaching experience.
Teaching responsibilities include full-time teaching with a focus on 2-3 sections of Pre-Algebra and Beginning Spanish. The remaining 2-3 sections are elective courses that align with the candidate’s education, background, and interests; in short, the candidate has the opportunity to propose, design, and teach 2-3 quarter-length MS elective courses or take on existing electives that complement the candidate’s qualifications. CSN middle school has a rich elective program, offering computer science electives, physical education electives, fine and performing arts electives, and academic electives. A full-time position includes five classes a day—with an average class size of approximately 14 students—a short end-of day study hall, and advisory responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits
This instructional position will be paid an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment and qualifications.
