Robert C. Parker School seeks an experienced teacher for grades 5-8 math. We seek a warm, caring, positive individual who is committed to a hands-on and project-oriented teaching with students.Teaching responsibilities include grades 5-8, with some additional STEM time. Grade 8 follows the New York State regents curriculum (algebra.) The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong classroom management skills. Our school is comprised of a dedicated, collaborative faculty, and an ability to see the math program as part of the whole school is important.
The position begins for school year 2019-20, with orientation in late August.
