The on-call substitute teacher will be available on short notice to substitute in birth to five classrooms. The substitute teacher must be able to adapt to different classrooms and age levels as needed throughout the program, while providing appropriate learning experiences and assisting teachers as needed throughout the day.
Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:
Candidates must have successfully earned a minimum of 30 college level credit hours; a minimum of 15 of those hours must be in ECE specific coursework
Certification in CPR & First Aid-pediatric and adult (recommended).
Have appropriately facilitated individual and group early learning experiences in infant, toddler, twos and mixed aged 3-5 classrooms;
Have experience implementing a developmentally appropriate classroom environment to meet children’s social-emotional, cognitive, physical and individual needs; experience developing and maintaining a respectful relationship with families and co-workers to ensure the optimal overall functioning of the classroom;
