Brookfield Academy, a private, independent, college preparatory day school, is seeking a full-time Middle School science teacher for the 2019-20 school year. Candidates with a love of teaching and an ability to relate to ambitious and motivated middle school students are highly desired. Successful teaching experience with grades 6-8
Ability to teach the physical science (including physics and basic chemistry)
Excellent communication between our students, parents and team of teachers
Ability to establish a positive learning environment supporting all students and challenging the most gifted students
Experience in creating and conducting meaningful labs that enhance our already strong curriculum
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university or equivalent in Science
