ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, DEVELOPMENT , Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations (OER) , to support the OER development team in reaching team and department goals. Will coordinate travel and meetings for associate director, senior associate director, and senior development officer; produce visit goals for development-related appointments for faculty and school leadership; arrange meetings with and prepare meeting materials for distinguished alumni of MIT Sloan; compose and edit internal and external communication for high-level alumni, prospects, and donors; create and execute reports from the Advance alumni database; process travel expense reports for multiple gift officers; assist with Outlook calendaring; manage internal meeting logistics, including creation of agendas, preparation of meeting materials, and coordination of catering; serve in a front-facing receptionist role for all of OER, greeting visitors on second floor office suite and answering and forwarding OER calls; and manage office supply inventory and reordering for all of OER. Will report to the associate director of development.
REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years' administrative, office, or related experience; proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; discretion and good judgment with confidential information and/or issues; strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; experience managing projects and performing data analysis; ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information; ability to work both independently and as a team member. Seek a proactive professional who is able to work under tight time constraints and meet deadlines while managing and prioritizing multiple projects. Advance Database and Concur experience strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree and an interest in and experience with higher education development is also preferred. Job #17492-5
