WES is seeking a full-time elementary classroom teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing core homeroom subjects of language arts, mathematics, and social studies. Responsive Classroom and Workshop-model experience in reading, writing, and math are desirable. Teachers within grade levels are expected to work closely together as a team to ensure each child’s success. The candidate will also work collaboratively with division colleagues and administrators on curriculum development and integration of technology.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in early childhood and/or elementary education, with a graduate degree preferred, and will have previously demonstrated successful experience teaching elementary school-aged children.
