Petaluma City Schools is seeking an Assistant Superintendent, Student Services for matters related to student discipline and attendance, student records, student support services, connections with community agencies, standardized testing, data management, child welfare and mental health, foster youth, counselors, and guidance, migrant education and other job-related duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Serves as the District IX Officer and serves on the Superintendent's Cabinet. The Director of Special Education reports to the Assistant Superintendent, Student Services.
Salary & Benefits: $130,801-$145,149 (223 days) plus advanced degree stipends. Health and Welfare benefits: $14,916 annually plus life insurance.

REQUIREMENTS: A valid California teaching credential, a valid California Administrative Services Credential and a Masters degree are required. A successful candidate must also possess a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and demonstrated experience with English Learners. Secondary site administrative experience preferred. Experience with high-risk youth issues desirable.
Additional Salary Information: $130,801 - $145,149 (223 days). There are also advanced degree stipends of $1,400 for Master’s, $2,400 for Doctorate and $1,098 for National Board Teaching Certification.
