Tallulah Falls School is accepting applications for a high school certified English teacher who has experience with digital media for an additional communications course. The position opening is for the 2019–20 academic year. This teacher would join a group of educators that believe that culture is everything. TFS faculty and staff play an integral role in meeting the educational and emotional needs of our students in and out of the classroom.
Communicate and make effective connections with upper school students
Plan a technology education program involving demonstrations, lectures, discussions, and student experiments; organize activities for optimal learning
Have a commitment to improving critical thinking, writing and reasoning skills
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior for a productive learning environment
Collaborate with grade and department level faculty to develop professional learning communities
Promote student growth by being able to identify individual student’s areas of strengths and weaknesses
Evaluate each student’s growth in knowledge and skills in the course being taught
Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress
Coaching/assistant coaching duties required
