The Orcutt Union School District (District) is seeking an Assistant Superintendent, Business Services. The salary range for this position is $137,332 to $162,222. In addition to the salary, an excellent benefits package is offered.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Assistant Superintendent, Business Services, is a classified senior management position. Under the direction of the Superintendent, this position plans, organizes, controls, and directs the District's business services, financial operations, and facilities planning; develops and implements long- and short-term plans and activities including prioritization of resources; administers the District's risk management program, including Worker's Compensation, property liability, student accident and safety; oversees student transportation and child nutrition; assures compliance with local and state policies, practices, and procedures; and supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff.

The District is in an unincorporated community located in the Santa Maria Valley of California’s scenic Central Coast. It is in Santa Barbara County, which is an hour from the city of Santa Barbara and approximately half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. With a Mediterranean climate, Orcutt enjoys pleasant weather year round.
The District currently serves approximately 5,200 students attending five TK-6 elementary schools, two 7-8 junior high schools, one TK-8 school, a TK-12 dependent charter school, and a TK-8 independent study program.
