Salesian High School, an all-boys Catholic high school in New Rochelle, NY, owned and administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco, seeks a Religion teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching high school-age young men – inspiring students to gain a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith, their individual faith and what it means to live as a follower of Jesus Christ in the world today.
The successful candidate will have a passion for the Faith, for teaching the Faith, and for developing meaningful relationships with the young men of Salesian. He or she will also be open to acquiring and living the Salesian pedagogical experience in the school context.
The prepared candidate will have a BA or MA in Theology, Religious Studies or Religious Education. Teaching experience is highly desirable.
