Main Street Child Development Center, a NAEYC accredited, non-profit early childhood development center in The City of Fairfax, is seeking a Lead Teacher for one of its Pre-K (4-5 year-old) classes. As Lead, you will be working with two Assistant Teachers in guiding and nurturing 18 children in preparation for kindergarten success using the Creative Curriculum and Developmentally Appropriate Practices.

Professionalism, positive attitude, growth mindset and commitment to excellence
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Related Field
Two years teaching experience
CPR/First Aid Certification
Willingness to comply with State Licensing and Main Street training requirements, to include 40 hours of training per year.
Hours – 8:30a – 5:00p
