Full-time temporary position (one year appointment with the possibility of renewal) in the Educational Leadership program area in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education and Human Development. The school is interested in educators with significant expertise in school leadership and administration. The successful candidate will contribute to school and college initiatives through excellence in teaching, scholarship, and collaboration with other faculty to procure external funds that support programmatic innovation. The successful candidate will also be committed to the goal of building a culturally diverse, pluralistic faculty and to teaching students to engage in practices that support diversity in global classroom environments.
Substantial experience in school leadership/administration and teaching in PK-12 schools. Active professional teaching license with the Administration and Supervision Endorsement, PreK – 12. Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field and continuing work toward a doctoral degree required. Doctoral degree preferred.
Experience in a variety of public school settings; familiarity with contemporary instructional technology, including online/distance education technology; interest and expertise in collaborative practice in inclusive schools/classrooms and school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports; experience with clinical supervision of educational leadership candidates. Doctoral degree preferred.
