The position is responsible for providing support to the Division of Academic Personnel within the Office of the Provost. This includes completing the implementation, uploading of information, managing workflow for faculty evaluations, and ongoing upkeep of Digital Measures and Mentis applications as well as data and information collecting and reporting. In assuming these responsibilities, the position will work closely with Faculty Affairs, Academic Planning and Policy, Academic Resource Planning, Human Resources, University Analytics, colleges, schools and other relevant units.
Support the operations of the Digital Measures application and other tools for tracking and facilitating faculty profiles, tenure and promotion, performance reviews, faculty development leaves, workload and other relevant academic processes. Host training sessions on the Digital Measures application and provide individualized or department-specific training on request, draft FAQs, and create training videos and user guides. Assist university, college and school leadership with reporting needs that can be met by Digital Measures. Includes developing custom reports to meet needs. Ensure faculty data quality and utilize other campus data and analytics systems (such as SAS) to report on and analyze faculty data in support of operations related to Academic Personnel (e.g. new hire statistics, faculty demographics, workload and accreditation reports), and Academic Programs (e.g. data analysis of academic programs, courses, waitlists, grade distribution). Develop forms and processes using programs, such as Office 360, Sharepoint, Digital Measures, to meet operational needs. Coordinate and partner with the Offices of Human Resources and University Analytics on relevant matters. Perform other duties related to academic personnel as assigned by the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Personnel.
Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years of experience with data systems or the equivalent experience. Technical proficiency, ability to learn new technologies quickly. A high level of integrity in the use of confidential and sensitive information. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrate ability to operate a personal computer and the use of Microsoft Office software.
