Waterville School District is looking for a High School Science teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. We are a 4 day school! Our district is a Leader In Me district and our size is approximately 270 students.
Waterville is located in North Central Washington state, close to rivers, mountains, tourist destinations and much more. Wenatchee is the closest large city, which is approximately 35 minutes from Waterville.

In order to be considered for this position you must currently have or will have by the start date: a Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
Bachelor’s degree; a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with secondary science endorsement required. Academic preparation for or experience in teaching a culturally, racially and economically diverse student population in a rural school district. Specific programs may require additional academic preparation or professional experience, including; working with bilingual students and assisting them in the transition to regular classrooms; implementing programs designed to prevent the dropout of "at risk" students; and, teaching multi-level, open-concept, and main streamed classes.
Advanced Placement Training preferred.
Math or additional endorsements preferred.
STEM background or teaching experience preferred.
7 Habits Leadership Training required or provided prior to the start of the school year.
Additional Salary Information: Salary schedule will be available in August 2019.

Waterville School is a 4 day school week school. Our students attend Monday - Thursday, and teachers meet for Professional Development one Friday each month.
