Do you love education and work well with kids/teens?
The Gow School is searching for candidates for the 2019-2020 school year. We are looking for candidates that are intellectually curious, creative, energetic, trustworthy and organized who take direction well and stay calm under pressure. This position works with the faculty, students, and administration to develop a collection of materials and resources which support the school curriculum. This person will also schedule tutoring sessions during the academic day and occasionally during evening study hall. This full-time position offers a unique cultural experience with non-academic responsibilities. This position requires living on campus in a dormitory apartment. We are a boarding school where we teach, coach, and live with our students as role models and mentors in class and within the nonacademic environment. This fulfilling position offers an extremely low student teacher ratio in a professional environment. The Gow School is a world-class organization that has a distinct culture of success. This includes a competitive compensation program for faculty and staff. This professional lifestyle is highly rewarding and requires extraordinarily dedicated professionals. A bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED, although not in a specific field. While certification is important, it is not required for this position. Interested, qualified candidates who are fully prepared to embrace this teaching and lifestyle should send a cover letter and resume to Julie Wysocki (email@example.com) for consideration.
