ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2 , Sloan School of Management-Office of External Relations (OER) , to serve as an integral member of the Sloan Development Team. Will report to the associate director, development and perform complex and diverse duties in support of OED members. Responsibilities include coordinating travel and meetings for associate director, development, senior associate director, development, and senior development officer, principal gifts; producing visit goals for development-related appointments for faculty and school leadership; arranging meetings with and preparing meeting materials for distinguished Sloan alumni; composing and editing internal and external communication for high-level alumni, prospects, and donors; creating and executing reports from the Advance alumni database; processing travel expense reports for multiple gift officers; assisting with Outlook calendaring; managing internal meeting logistics, including creation of agendas, preparation of meeting materials, and coordination of catering; front-facing receptionist role for all of OER, greeting visitors on send floor office suite and answering and forwarding OER calls; and managing the office supply inventory for all of OER.
REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years' administrative, office, or related experience; proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; discretion and good judgment with confidential information/issues; excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; proactive approach to the work; and experience managing projects and performing data analysis. Must be able to analyze, synthesize, and present information; manage and prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under tight time constraints; interact effectively with others; and work both independently and as a team member. A bachelor's degree, an interest and experience in higher education development, and Advance database and Concur experience are preferred. Job #17733-5
