Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Head, the Support & Enrichment Teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement the instructional program to support students in accordance with the School’s mission, goals and objectives and philosophy of teaching and learning.
Serve as a resource to support the school program and students as directed by the Administrative Team.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the development of curriculum, teaching methods and instructional strategies that will help students meet age appropriate challenges across the educational program.
Teach language arts (reading, writing, listening and speaking), social studies, and mathematics.
Provide individualized small group and whole group instruction.
Monitor performance and behavior and keep consistent, reliable records.
Attend community meetings, faculty meetings, and in-service days, and research and participate in professional development opportunities.
