Oak Meadow Curriculum and School in Brattleboro, Vermont is a homeschooling curriculum publisher and a distance learning school with students in grades K -12. We have an opening for an elementary school teacher (grades K-6) to serve students in our homeschooling and distance learning model. We seek a resourceful, dynamic individual to work with homeschooling families from around the world. Our curriculum provides hands-on, experiential learning opportunities offering students creative means for learning about the world around them while developing skills and being fully engaged in the learning process.

Minimum three years classroom teaching experience in K-6 level
Advanced degree in Education
Experience with distance learning and using technology in the distance learning model
Review and assess student work with our print based curriculum
Provide support for students and families as they engage with our courses
Be available during specified office hours for instruction
Write two narrative evaluations per student per year
Manage an online gradebook and student information system
Attend monthly faculty meetings and annual open house
Review and revise curriculum as needed
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Dedication to the educational field
Knowledge of online, collaborative tools to facilitate student engagement
Experience with the Google platform
