The Madison-Oneida BOCES seeks a dynamic educational leader who has knowledge of New York State Education Law, instructional standards and public school finance. The successful candidate must be able to lead a multi-faceted organization, collaborate well with diverse constituencies and advocate strongly for public school children. The District Superintendent also serves as the liaison for the NYS Education Department.
The MO BOCES serves 9 school districts in central New York. Instructional programs offered by the MO BOCES include career & technical education, alternative & special education, early childhood education, itinerant services and adult & continuing education. MO BOCES also provides state of the art technology services and training through the MORIC serving over 50 schools, staff and curriculum development opportunities and a variety of management services, including central bus maintenance, labor relations and policy and several other support services.
New York State District Administrator or School District Leader certification is required.
