Chicago Friends School seeks a Grade 2-3 lead teacher. This is a maternity replacement and the successful candidate will teach for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, with option for renewal in following years. This individual will lead a self-contained small (10-student) multi-age classroom. Our teachers work within a collaborative, creative, start-up environment.

Experience as early to mid-elementary lead teacher is required. Preference will be given to those who have experience in progressive education and mixed age classrooms and a passion for early to middle elementary students.
Bachelor's degree in Education required, Master's degree preferred.
Experience as a lead elementary school classroom teacher required.
Experience in mixed grade and progressive requirements preferred.
