Thayer Academy seeks a Middle School Spanish Teacher to begin in November. Our current teacher is moving and will not return after Thanksgiving break. Ideally, the successful candidate would join us in mid-November to become acquainted with the students, the school, and the curriculum before taking over the classes on December 2.
The position involves teaching 4 sections of 8th grade Spanish and advising a small group of 7th grade students. Coaching is not required but may be welcomed (for an additional stipend), depending on the sport. Our Middle School language program teaches level I of the student's selected language during the 7th and 8th grade years, so these classes represent the second half of Spanish I.
Please submit a resume and cover letter through the NAIS website or email them directly to Mr. Carson Smith, Middle School Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
