This posting has two vacancies The Department of Applied Human Sciences invites applications for a full-time early childhood teaching position. This individual will act as an Infant/Toddler teacher in the child development center ensuring a high-quality early childhood program for the education of EKU students, young children and their families and the community at large. Working collaboratively with the CDC Director and EKU faculty, the teacher will teach and supervise college interns and lab students in planning, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
Minimum of one year teaching experience with young children in a developmentally appropriate program. Must have working knowledge of The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Licensing Regulations and Procedures. Excellent knowledge and skills in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of infant/toddler/preschool assessment and curriculum.
