Casady School invites applications for the position of Upper Division Mathematics teacher to begin in August 2020. The typical course load is four sections, two preps. The successful candidate will be able to teach Geometry and Honors Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus 1 and 2, Honors Pre-Calculus 2, Calculus AB and BC, and Statistics, including AP Statistics. The ability and willingness to teach Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus would be a plus.
Teachers at Casady have extra duties, including but not limited to: monitoring one or two rows of students in daily Chapel, conversing with nine students at a family-style lunch table, and proctoring Study Halls. The successful candidate will also contribute to the life of Casady’s Upper Division. The willingness and ability to coach at least one sport would be a plus. We seek a flexible, dynamic, and creative colleague to assist in meeting the curricular needs of present and future students.
