Bachelor’s degree, required
Experience in teaching both Physical Education and Health classes in independent schools, preferred
Willingness and ability to build on existing middle school health curriculum and program
Ability to foster positive relationships based on mutual respect and trust
Demonstrated command of knowledge applicable to the position
Demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity, leadership, inclusion, and equity
Ability to collaborate and contribute to a dynamic community of teachers
Experience in innovative course design, planning, implementation and assessment
Ability to teach academic skills and foster intellectual habits
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple constituencies
