Merion Mercy Academy seeks an energetic and innovative teacher to teach French and Spanish for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year, starting in January 2020. The applicant should be prepared to teach various levels of French, including AP French, and introductory levels of Spanish language classes in accordance with ACTFL Standards for oral and writing proficiency, and will also have homeroom and advisory responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching girls, have a familiarity with instructional technology, and enjoy working within a team setting of shared ideas and constructive feedback in a collaborative manner.
Applicants should have a college degree in French, Foreign/World Language Education, or a related field (a Master’s degree and teaching experience are preferred), advanced proficiency in French, and working proficiency in Spanish.
