Responsible for driving educational performance; overseeing curriculum, instruction and assessment; and leading a team that will focus on increasing academic achievement and reducing the student achievement gap. Will act in the Superintendent's absence. To manage all functions and services within the Teaching, Leading, and Learning Division consistent with district priorities and established goals. To provide leadership that supports the District's overall academic performance strategy while ensuring that all administrators throughout the organization function as an integrated team. To oversee the development of school leadership development programs, professional development programs for all staff, and high quality evaluation systems and procedures in a culture of continuous improvement. To provide direct assistance to the Superintendent in strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of results of district initiatives. To assist in the day to day operations of the School District and act in the absence of the Superintendent when requested.
Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, or related field; doctorate preferred. Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in education/business with at least five (5) years in administration/management. Demonstrated experience in School Administration.
