We are currently seeking a full-time Upper School Physics teacher to start in the fall of 2020. Strong candidates will have excellent subject expertise in physics and at least two years of experience teaching high school physics. The position includes teaching standard and honors physics and possibly an elective course as well as maintaining the related laboratory materials and equipment. Candidates who also possess the versatility to teach in other fields of science, when necessary, are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a demonstrated interest in motivating girls' success in STEM fields. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom, and the ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process are essential.
