We are seeking a part-time after-school support teacher to help facilitate after school programming with our middle school students. This person will supervise middle school students after school from 3:30pm-6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
This support will include: • Assisting students with homework club, including helping students organize and complete homework and other assignments. • Supporting students with after school enrichment classes. • Supervising students who are not scheduled in other activities after school.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications: • Must love kids, especially middle school students! • Positive and energetic disposition • Able to build relationships with middle school students • Strong and positive behavior management skills • Strong communication skills with students and parents
Preferred Background: Candidates should have experience working with students in grades 6-8. This position is ideal for someone interested in getting more experience with children before going into a classroom teaching role.

Pilgrim School, founded in 1958, is an independent, co-educational school for students in Preschool through Grade 12 that includes an international high school boarding program.
