The Office of Catholic Education and Formation of the Archdiocese of St. Louis seeks a collaborative, dedicated and innovative principal for St. Cecilia School and Academy, a Catholic urban elementary school located in South St. Louis City. St. Cecilia’s offers a holistic K – 8 education that addresses the spiritual, academic, and social development of every student and incorporates the Nativity Miguel educational model for students in grades 6 – 8.
A successful candidate must be a practicing Catholic, possess a Master’s degree in administration/educational leadership as well as proper educational credentials, and be fluent in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of Catholic identity, be knowledgeable in curriculum development and student assessment, and have strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
This position begins July 1, 2020. Candidates must have a letter of interest, a current resume, and a completed Administration Application on file with the Office of Catholic Education and Formation to be considered. Individuals new to leadership or new to serving in the Archdiocese of St. Louis must also successfully complete the Principal Screening Process.
