St. John Vianney Catholic School, located in Gallatin, TN, seeks an innovative leader to serve as school principal for the 2020-2021 school year. St. John Vianney (SJV) is a hidden gem in Sumner County, an area experiencing rapid growth just 35 minutes northeast of Nashville. SJV currently serves 75 children in PK-8th grades in well-appointed facilities, boasts test scores well above national averages, and enjoys the support of its parents and pastor. SJV is a partner school to Pope John Paul II Catholic High School.
The school principal has direct oversight of all aspects of the school's operation with the support of the parish pastor and superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Nashville. The school is fully accredited through Cognia district-wide accreditation and the State of Tennessee. Applicants must demonstrate knowledge of institutional advancement, communicate effectively, and employ collaborative practices to engage all stakeholders in the mission of the school.

Hold a Masters Degree in Education Leadership & Supervision or related field
Have successful experience in a Catholic school environment
