Gerstell Academy is seeking an inspiring, engaging, and encouraging Leadership teacher with leadership experience and the capacity to teach Upper School Leadership (grades 9-12) for the 2020-2021 academic year. Possible courses include: Leadership and Human Behavior, Applied Ethics, Organizational Leadership, and Leadership and Change. Duties will include teaching the Mission, Motto, Leadership Principles and Attributes, teaching leadership courses, curriculum mapping, serving as a student advisor, and other duties as assigned or needed to develop school programs.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or Philosophy. Prior teaching experience and certification is preferred. The desired candidate will be able to teach Leadership as an academic course, and as a vehicle to teach leadership education, critical thinking skills, and character development.
