The site is yet to be determined, but could be a Transitional Kinder through 6th grade program or a Transitional Kinder through 8th grade program.

Essential Types of Duties:
Establishes implementation of academic standards and student performance. Coordinates curriculum and staff development and curriculum alignment. Analyses student test scores and assessments to predict program efficiencies. · Develops an advanced budget, which includes cost analysis and cost-effective school site management, equipment, expansion, or site modernization. · Develops plans for, and promotes a safe learning environment for students and staff. · Ensures quality school and community relationship. Maintains a positive contacts with the community, responds to parent concerns, establishes communication forums including parent and community meetings and school newsletters. · Supervises and provides day-to-day personnel management of a large educational and support staff. Plans and directs programs and ensures compliance with District, State and Federal regulations. · Facilitates a variety of group processes with parents, staff, students and the community. · Coordinates educational program activities with other departments and outside agencies. Prepares and presents staff reports and provides staff assistance to the Superintendent. · Designs, plans, and assures implementation of site action plans, staff development and programs. · Promotes marketing, merchandising and public relations as it relates to education services in the District and community. · Serves as a point of coordination for various inter-department, inter-agency, etc., activities and events, some of which may require media notification. · Performs other duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
