St. Anne's-Belfield School seeks a full-time lead teacher of a Grades K -4 homeroom class. A homeroom teacher in Grades K - 4 will be responsible for daily homeroom instruction, morning meetings in the philosophy of Responsive Classroom, guided reading and Words Their Way, writing workshop, social studies, co-teaching in our FabLab program, and co-teaching in our Singapore math program. The ideal candidate for the role will be one who seeks to stimulate deep critical thinking, thrives in a collaborative team approach and has both an interest in and experience with student-initiated, project-based learning.
St. Anne's-Belfield also affirms the enduring value of educating the whole child and faculty endeavor, by way of their multiple venues of interaction with students, to deliver on the School's mantra of "Every Child Known Well."
