Landon seeks a creative and innovative Middle School Art teacher to join its faculty for a full-time position for the 2020-21 school year. This position will consist of teaching drawing, painting, and design to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of art materials and experience fostering the ethical, intellectual, physical, and social development of boys through project-based learning in the visual arts. The position includes coaching and advising responsibilities in addition to classroom teaching, and it offers many chances to engage with students beyond the classroom. Candidates should exhibit an enthusiasm for working with boys in early adolescence, collaborating with colleagues, and being an active member of the school community.
