We have been retained to lead the search for the next Superintendent of Catholic Schools at the Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina. This is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing dioceses in the country. We are moving with appropriate speed and diligence to meet Bishop Zarama’s desire to have the new Superintendent in place by July 2020.
To qualify, candidates will need to be practicing Catholics and accomplished servant leaders with demonstrated passion for mission. The Diocese welcomes candidates from other Catholic or independent schools and dioceses as well as accomplished executives from various mission-critical career venues such as: higher education; non-profit foundations, associations, charities and the like; or the corporate, civic, and professional services arenas. While domain knowledge of education and school operations is expected, other qualities are also highly valued, especially visionary, entrepreneurial leadership and the ability to inspire, lead a high performing team, and assist schools in creating demand for the extraordinary gifts of a Catholic education. This is a rare and exciting opportunity.
