The Covenant School is seeking a full-time Upper School History teacher for the 2020-21 school year. All candidates should have demonstrable Christian commitment and an educational philosophy that is consistent with The Covenant School's mission statement and Christian Liberal Arts & Sciences pedagogy. Qualified candidates will have a degree in History or a related field, and will have the versatility to teach all levels of the Upper School curriculum. The strongest candidates will have a Master's Degree or Ph.D. and will have 3-5 years of teaching experience, ideally with departmental leadership experience as well. Candidates must also have the ability to inspire students' love of learning and critical thinking, an enthusiasm for professional growth and academic excellence, and an eagerness to share their Christian faith authentically in the context of their teaching.
