Align teaching to English Language Arts, Literature and Social Studies (humanities) learning objectives such as NCTE, the Common Core and/or other reputable sources.
Harmonize these objectives with the French National Education competencies when collaborating with colleagues of other subject areas, showing a particular regard for language, literature and social studies components
Have an interest in teaching in a bilingual, multicultural environment

Applicants should have at least three years of grade level teaching experience, a desire to be part of an internationally diverse community of teachers and learners, and a willingness to adapt to the unique program at FASPS. A Washington State teaching certificate is not required. Successful candidates will be passionate about working with students, have knowledge of current educational practices and strategies and be able to use flexible and innovative pedagogical techniques appropriate to a variety of learning styles.
Bilingual skills to include French are a plus. The ability to be employed in the United States and to pass a background check are required.
