The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a junior kindergarten through 8th grade school located seven miles west of Boston, seeks a music educator to join our faculty starting in August 2020.
This full-time teacher is responsible for teaching music classes in JK- grade 5, choral classes in grades 3-5, and middle school arts courses. Students participating in these classes will be performing at whole school assemblies including but not limited to Thanksgiving Assembly, Winter Concert, and Fine Arts Night. There is also an opportunity to work with the arts team and provide musical direction for the middle school musical. Additional daily responsibilities include primary duties, writing reports, communicating with families, and attending faculty and division meetings.

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates exceptional vocal arrangement and accompaniment skills, and has experience in musical theatre. In addition, candidates should demonstrate experience working with children and using a variety of teaching methods to support learning styles to help students grow their skills and confidence over time. Strong classroom management skills are essential.
