Temima, a faith-based high school for girls, is looking for dynamic full-time and part-time high school science and mathematics teachers. Candidates will find small classes, motivated students, and a growth-oriented environment with strong leadership and engaged faculty. Candidates must have at least two years of high school classroom experience, degree in related field, and proven success in the classroom.
Temima seeks to hire dynamic and engaging math and science teachers, qualified to teach all levels of Upper School mathematics and/or high school science (biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and physiology). For 2020-21, the school has the opportunity to build flexible schedules for the right candidates. Temima’s math program strives to cultivate a classroom environment in which students are expected to participate, communicate new ways of thinking, learn from mistakes, collaborate with classmates, and embrace challenges. Opportunities for interdisciplinary learning abound due to the small class size. With two dedicated science labs, the school has the opportunity to build flexible schedules for the teaching of high school science. In addition to part-time teachers, the school is seeking a science department head who will teach full-time and lead the STEM program.
At Temima, teachers are expected to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:
develop the curriculum materials, syllabus, outlines, labs, and assessments.

establish a learning environment where every student’s right to learn is respected.
participate in all faculty and department meetings as scheduled.
