The Episcopal Academy seeks a dynamic full-time photography teacher beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. This teacher will foster students' creative, critical thinking, and critical observational skills while working collaboratively with colleagues within and outside of the Visual Arts Department.
The majority of the teaching in this position is in the Upper School, though there are opportunities to teach Middle School students in our elective program. Our photography teacher also collaborates with the school's communications department, photographing school events, and organizing student photographers; this work requires occasional availability for evenings and weekends based on a schedule collaboratively developed in the beginning of each academic year.

Have experience with the multiple forms of photography that are common in the school environment, including candid, portrait, sports, event, editorial, and others.
Be skilled with digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
A bachelor's degree is required for this position. Candidates with degrees in Arts Education will be considered favorably, as will professional photographers with teaching experience.
