The Pinnacle School, a private, special education day school for college-bound students in grades 2 through 12, seeks a Middle School Division Leader beginning July, 2020.
The Middle School Division Leader is responsible for all aspects of the Middle School program, directs all Middle School students and faculty members each day, and ensures all aspects of the program align with our mission and philosophy. This individual is a member of the School’s leadership team and works collaboratively across divisions to provide guidance, stability, and support to staff, students and their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the educational leader of the middle school division, responsible for its day-to-day operation; directing the activities of the divisional faculty and staff in the performance of their duties
Facilitate the academic, social, and emotional guidance of students
Supporting faculty to deliver high-quality instruction to students aligned with the school’s mission and philosophy
Serve as a mentor and resource to faculty in matters of classroom management, teaching methods, and general school procedures
Oversee the grading and the reporting of standards and methods used by teachers in measuring student achievement, including Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Assist in the admission process for the testing, interviewing, and evaluating of applicants for enrollment
