BB&N is potentially seeking a part-time Upper School Art Teacher to teach an after school multi-disciplinary visual arts course that meets from 3:30-5:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a studio and attending meetings when necessary. The instructor will engage in the creative and institutional life of the Upper School.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in at least 3 visual arts, e.g. drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and/or photo. A Bachelor’s degree is required and Master’s degree is preferred with at least two years of teaching experience.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:

Ability to collaborate with colleagues
Strong commitment to working in and fostering an inclusive community
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
