BB&N is seeking a full-time Upper School computer science and math teacher. Responsibilities include teaching 4 sections (which will be a combination of AP Computer Science, post-AP Computer Science, and likely one math course). The ideal candidate would also advise BB&N’s robotics club. The computer science and math teacher collaborates closely with colleagues in the Mathematics Department and attends regular department and faculty meetings. Additional responsibilities will vary according to current program need and new initiatives, including assigned extra-curricular duties including the possibility of advising, extra-curricular clubs and/or coaching.
We seek an experienced teacher capable of teaching various levels of college preparatory mathematics and computer science. The ideal candidate will bring degree work in mathematics and/or computer science, high school teaching experience, and ample experience with the use of technology for mathematics instruction.
