Position: Upper School English Teacher Reports to: Upper School Division Head, English Department Chair FLSA: Exempt, full-time
Summary: Convent of the Sacred Heart is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Upper School English Teacher. This is a full-time school-year position, late August through June. Beginning late August 2020.
Responsibilities: Teaching three sections of 9th grade English and one section of 12th grade English. Upper School teachers are expected to serve as student advisors, lead extracurricular activities, and be actively involved in the life of the school.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have three or more years of teaching experience, and have shown a demonstrated interest in secondary school education. A Master’s degree in English or a related field is required.
