Under the general supervision of the principal to coordinate all pupil personnel programs and functions including the campus discipline program, campus supervision, student registration and scheduling, supervision of the director of student activities, attendance, health services, registrar, master schedule development, room utilization, and assist with teacher observation, supervision, and evaluation.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the guidance program and related activities for the school, as well as work with various public and private agencies interested in the welfare of students.
Coordinate the career/college-counseling program.
Supervise the discipline program for the school; including all activities that might pertain to suspension/expulsion.
Coordinate all campus and activity supervision.
Implement an effective student registration process, including student scheduling.
Assist the principal and the instructional deans in the construction of the master schedule, including teacher assignments and room utilization.
Supervise and evaluate the director of student activities and grade level coordinators.
Supervise and evaluate assigned classified positions within the pupil services arena.
Interpret district and school policies in regard to pupil personnel issues.
Assist the principal and deans in teacher observation, supervision, and evaluations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the principal and the deans in the direction and coordination of school-based on staff development programs.
Assist the principal and the accounts clerk with the coordination and maintenance of various school budgets.
Other duties as assigned.
